So, by now we are aware that I have absolutely no knowledge in web design when it comes to the real technical ish right? Same applies for Photoshop, I’ve seen people use it before, never gave it a go myself, but I know a few of the terms and uses and whatever. I’ve always been so flattered whenever people look at my site and say “wow, you did that all yourself?” and my answer has always been “yeah, but I just know how to read” cus really, wordpress does everything for me. I mean sure, I know a few html tricks, but who doesn’t. I don’t know what the hell php is and css and dreamweaver and all that other crap. I just read some shit and applied it cus the ppl who I outsourced it too were too busy.
Therefore my banner was done in Paint, Yes Microsoft Paint, go ahead and laugh you techies. That’s why the wording in it looks fuzzy. It doesnt bother me still, it doesnt bother any of my readers. But I’ve always had it on my “to-do” list of things to be done for the site. So when the DJ, a web genius who actually teaches courses in this stuff, says to me that he’ll do it over for me, I of course say sure! So he does over the wording and sends it to me. I tell him to put it on the actual banner for me. He says its “flattened” and therefore he won’t be able to remove that layer and put his new one in. I know what he means by my basic knowledge of photoshop, so I tell him to Just wipe out the words that are there now, fill the spot with the same green thats in the background (this I could have done in paint, so it must can be done in Photoshop) and then put his words in.
Dude doesn’t see how that could be possible apparently, and has no clue what I am talking about. Says he’ll need to do it all over (i.e. the whole banner.) Now you guys understand why I do my site shit myself, cus working with some so-called techies are a pain in the ass! What the hell is wrong with my suggestion? Its simple! Someone point me to the difficulty please! I’ll do it ma damn self…I just got no time for these idiots.
